In commemoration of the exhibition Witness: Art and Civil Rights in the Sixties
, come view the acclaimed film Ruby Bridges
(Euzhan Palcy, 1998, 96 min.), about the first child to integrate her elementary school in New Orleans. Following the film, families will participate in a guided experience in the Witness
exhibition and then make a political button to share their views. This intergenerational program is for children ages eight and up with adult family members.
