Catch the Brooklyn premiere of the new web series Brown Girls (Fatimah Asghar and Sam Bailey, 2016), which follows two women from different backgrounds—Leila, a South Asian–American writer, and Patricia, a black American musician—and their powerful friendship. Followed by a talkback with writer Fatimah Asghar, director Sam Bailey, and lead actress Sonia Denis, moderated by multimedia artist Lindsay Catherine Harris, Astor Teen Programs Coordinator. 330 free tickets at the Admissions Desk at 7 pm.
