Teacher Workshop: Revolutions on Paper

Thursday, January 9, 2025

4:30–7:30 pm

Education Center, 1st Floor

Explore the radical artistic and political possibilities of printmaking in this educator workshop, hosted in collaboration with Art21. Visit the special exhibition Elizabeth Catlett: A Black Revolutionary Artist and All That It Implies with educators Michael Reback and Makda Amdetsyon, and discuss how Catlett’s collaborative process intersected with the revolutionary social movements of her time. Then join a hands-on printmaking workshop with artist Mildred Beltre, considering how printmakers can exchange ideas and build community in—and beyond—the studio.

Free; registration is required. Light snacks will be served.
