We’re partnering with Wide Awakes Mobil Soup Kitchen—a civic engagement project focused on mutual aid and interdependence by way of free food—to bring free hot meals to our local communities. Every Saturday from February 13 to March 6, the Wide Awakes food truck will be stationed in a different Brooklyn neighborhood, and food will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. This Saturday, find the Mobil Soup Kitchen at Sanctified Church of God from noon to 2 pm (404 Lefferts Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11225) and Bay Ridge Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd from 2:30 to 5 pm (7420 4th Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11209).
