Pierrone

Date of birth unknown; d. 1430, Paris

Pierrone (Pierronne) of Brittany was a companion of Joan of Arc and fellow visionary. She asserted that God had appeared to her in a long white robe and spoken to her as a friend. She was accused of blasphemy and burned at the stake in 1430 in Paris, shortly before Joan was captured by the English.
