Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program

Find your true north at BCAP Summer Camp! In 2019, campers ages 7–12 who love art, culture, nature, and science explore “Air, Earth, Water, Fire” through behind-the-scenes adventures, projects, and games.

Sessions are two weeks long, Monday–Friday, 9 am–3:30 pm.
Free early drop-off offered (8–8:45 am) and Stay & Play After-Camp (3:30–6 pm).

Session 1: July 1–12 (no camp July 4)
Session 2: July 15–26
Session 3: July 29–August 9

BCAP also offers a two-week photojournalism mini internship (plus stipend) for ages 14–17. This opportunity is ideal for teens who would like to develop their leadership skills and express their creative interests. BCAP and BCAPteen are organized by BCAP Summer Camp Directors at the Brooklyn Public Library. BCAP’s home base is the Brooklyn Museum, and BCAPteen’s home base is the Brooklyn Public Library, in partnership with Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Prospect Park, and Prospect Park Zoo.
