Teen Council

Our Teen Council is made up of five core organizers who have previously completed at least one Brooklyn Museum teen internship. This group of senior leaders will plan an event for all current teen staff and an event for our teen alumni, as well as contribute to ongoing programs and initiatives. They will conduct outreach and marketing for all of our teen events, and will help shape and build our alumni and current teen staff community.

Teen Council members will:

  • Build and strengthen communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Plan events for our teen staff community
  • Promote and do outreach to teens all over the city
  • Make connections with Museum staff throughout various departments
  • Strengthen networking skills
  • Create a positive environment for our community
