This is a Standing Warrior Figure made in Mexico. It is attributed to the Veracruz culture. You'll notice that his face and body are covered in black pigment, a mixture of plant saps, resins, crushed plants, asphalt, and black soot. This mixture was frequently used by Veracruz artists to embellish their sculptures.
