Markings

WEDGWOOD stamped into back of base, just below tree stump. Modelled by Anthony Keeling at Etruria, in 1779; its companion piece is the statuette of Voltaire (55.25.6, Keeling was the son-in-law of Enoch Booth, an important potter. Possibly modelled from a satue by Houdon? Condition: Excellent
