Markings
Impressed on underside, partially struck oval stamp with: "RICHARD" in banner arching around top half; in center, dove carrying branch flying above fox (lamb?); and "AUSTIN" in banner around bottom edge, ends of banners meet at sides of oval. [Laughlin identifies the animal as a lamb, but it does not resemble one.]
