December 5, 1929
An interesting exhibition has just been hung in the Library Gallery of the Brooklyn Museum to continue until December 18th. It consists of original paintings and the lithographic prints taken from them that were made for the B.M.T. and which have been displayed in their cars for the last few months. This exhibition has been made possible through the courtesy of Mr. Joseph A. Frederickson, the Publicity Department of the Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit Corporation.
There is an interesting set of seven color proofs of the Trinity Church posters showing the progressive steps in the four color processes and in contrast to this on poster in black and white depending entirely on its good lettering for its effect. Other subjects are: "City Hall and Municipal Building", "Brooklyn's New Theatre and Transit Garden", "The Gay White Way", "The Eternal Light, Madison Square", "Coney Island", "Where Broadway Begins" and "Brooklyn's Botanic Garden".
