CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Standing wooden female figure with dark, glossy surface. Has a ridged coiffure with a high central crest that is decorated with finely incised lines. There are traces of kaolin in the incisions. The ears are carefully delineated. The face is flat with well defined almond shaped eyes, broad nose, and small mouth. The breasts are pointed, abdomen protrudes, arms are at sides, and hands rest on abdomen. Both legs are flexed. She wears a bead girdle at hips consisting of blue beads with one red bead and one variegated green bead. There are three notched cicatrization marks on left side of neck.
Condition: Excellent. Both feet are missing.
