    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Sugar bowl (a) and lid (b), silver-plate on white metal. Part of a four-piece tea service (88.65.1-.4). Flattened spherical body, heavily repoussed and chased with scrolling acanthus leaves, sits on short, slightly flaring foot ring. Two C-shaped handles. Short. Ribbed neck; flat, repoussed lid with elaborated acorn-shaped finial. Engraved in script on rim: T.A. and M.W. CONDITION: Normal wear and scratches to silver-plate. Finial bent.
