CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Spoon; Silver-plate orange spoon with elongated bowl with notches at shoulders and rounded pointed tip. Narrow handle flares from mid-point to round shoulders and gently curved crest. Lower half of handle with series of diagonal U-shapes undecorated alternating with U-shapes with irregular striations. Above mid-point tripartite leaf motif rises into scrolling leafy vine filling entire end of handle against a stippled ground. Reverse undecorated. Gladstone pattern. CONDITION - Good; scratches in bowl due to normal wear; plate loss to heel of bowl; underside of bowl pitted; plate loss below crest on reverse.
