CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Spoon. Soup spoon, silver-plate. Plain bowl. Narrow band of concentric circles at beginning of handle that then narrows and broadens at mid-point articulated with narrow molded bow. Above mid-point handle broadens gradually to rounded shoulders and flat crest punctured by point at center. Above mid-point half sunburst with zigzag bordered above. Wading bird in seascape in profile at right, tall reeds to left. Engraved gothic "S" in field above horizontal band of six dots fitted into crest. Reverse with similar decoration minus wading bird and lower part of fan at crest. Pattern unknown. CONDITION - Very good original condition; plate very bright.
