Inscriptions
Inscription: The heroine well-versed in love. On Verso: 46. She, who surpasses Rati (Cupid's wife) in beauty, is seated amidst her superiors. The approaching lover (Krishna) excels Manobhava (Cupid, the love god) in his charming grace. He desires to drink with his eyes the nectar of her beauty, which has no equal among women. She, on the other hand, envisions his graceful image, which is far superior to that of the husband of Rati in her heart since he is out of reach from her eyes. (72) Inscription read by S. Mitra
