    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION A rounded cup decorated with transfer-printed polychrome designs of stylized branches and pomegranates on a white ground. At center is an open picture book revealing a scene with two girls sitting on a green pasture, flanked by a Chinese brush and ink landscape on light blue ground and a rounded fan decorated with fish in the Chinese style. Gilt lines along rim and handle. Part of a 11-piece tea set. A round saucer decorated with transfer-printed polychrome designs of stylized branches and pomegranates on a white ground, surrounding an open picture book revealing a scene with opening to reveal a scene with a girl leaning on a fence, flanked by a Chinese brush and ink landscape on light blue ground and a rounded fan decorated with fish in the Chinese style. Opposite is an image of a small sailboat within a rhomboidal frame surrounded by stylized twigs. Gilt line along rim. Part of a 10-piece tea set. CONDITION: Excellent.
