CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Undecorated elongated bowl with lower half of stem undecorated rising to a straight sided flared handle with slightly crested end, a midpoint band of three elongated arches with horizontal striations overlaid with a vertical line of four abstracted fleur-de-lys, above this band an illusionistically folded ribbon with Butah pattern forming a zig-zag and three reserves, the top proper left and central reserve each with a leafy frond, and the bottom proper right reserve with a bifurcated branch with leaves and paired flowers; on the reverse the midpoint band continues, at the center an undecorated diagonal band with narrow border of conforming diagonal striations superimposed with symmetrical garland band that is also repeated under the crest, over an attenuated bifurcated plant with four flowers and one bud at the top.
