Jug, glazed earthenware. Flattened yellowware form with arched shoulders, single loop handle and cylindrical neck. The molded form has minimal decoration in relief. In the center, both back and front, is a Grecian type urn filled with overflowing flowers. The urn is set within a large arch, framed by an acanthus motif. The narrower sides have a vertical acanthus motif running from the base to three-quarters of the way up the jug. The overall color is mustard, with a brown manganese splattered over glaze.
Condition: Excellent overall condition. Minor abrasions to base from use. Stopper (cork?) missing.
