    MARKINGS On base of cup: company logo printed in blue with "S" below, "10" hand painted in blue, and "Br" hand painted in orange. On base of saucer: company logo impressed, gilder's mark "Wy" hand painted, "III" hand painted in black, donor's old rectangular white paper label "2474."

    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Cup and saucer, ivory body, the cup of flared cylindrical form simulating a wooden barrel with three horizontal molded and raised rings terminating in a molded ring on a circular, raised ring foot. The flared saucer with raised molded border above the bowl with low relief molded wood plank detail terminating in a raised border. The body decorated with a gilt on gilt zigzag border above typical Royal Worcester polychrome Japanesque motifs including mon, serrated leaves, and square diaper patterns above the foot also decorated with gilt on gilt zigzag pattern, with a gilt molded applied handle of rectilinear bracket form. The saucer similarly decorated. Condition: overall good condition, one chip at rim on cup repaired and one crack to cup repaired.
