    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Four part oil lamp in porcelain and glass. (a) Base: rounded squat shape, with short neck, wide central opening, exterior of white glazed porcelain, decorated with large molded, flat, circular dark brown leaves with gold paint highlights and irregularly spaced gold colored stems and large gold buds with red highlights. Central opening, interior: with brass colored metal conforming insert, attached by central bolt through to reverse of base. The whole on a rocaille design base in dark brown and gold with four raised vertical curved feet with thick gold bands on exterior of feet. (b) Oil Lamp: Vertical, circular brass colored metal oil lamp, with detachable upper section with graduating circular discs and vertical section for cloth taper; to one side two disc shaped handles on pins to lower and raise cloth taper. (c) Colorless glass hurricane: glass hurricane cover. (d) Frosted and clear colorless glass globe shaped cover. Wide, spherical, lobed, frosted and clear glass cover.
