    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION White-bodied molded flattened globular teapot raised on circular foot. Recto and verso, large rectangular shape pierced in honeycomb pattern with three shield shapes pierced by six holes each, possibly abstracted bee hives, with inner wall of teapot visible behind. Body rises to short neck and wide mouth. C-shaped handle and spout, opposite, incised to resemble bamboo. Cover with wide flat lip and base with raised dome with two triangular sections pierced in honeycomb pattern with two shield shapes pierced by six holes each, possibly abstracted bee hives, topped with small bulbous baluster shaped finial rising to a point. Condition: Good.
