CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Grey glaze round plate with polychrome decoration of a rooster. Grey background of a tree and river/marsh scene, in foreground a large orange and yellow rooster with long brown tail and yellow head feathers, feathers outlined in gold. Behind rooster is a blue-green leafed plant with gold colored flowers, above rooster, extending across top of plate is branch with green leaves and gold colored flowers, sitting on branch are two small green birds, one bird facing downwards; outer edge with thin gold band.
