CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
"Tuxedo" pattern. Circular buffet plate with wide rim in white porcelain with vitreous glaze and transfer-printed decorations. Edge of rim has border of small black rectangles; a black square appears in each quadrant of the rim; a black band outlines the slope of the dish of the plate, but is broken under the four squares on the rim. The center of the plate has four black squares arranged in square pattern. Part of four-piece place setting (85.158.8-10a-b).
CONDITION: Undamaged.
