"CUR" at the beginning of an image file name means that the image was created by a curatorial staff member. These study images may be digital point-and-shoot photographs, when we don\'t yet have high-quality studio photography, or they may be scans of older negatives, slides, or photographic prints, providing historical documentation of the object.
"Sunshine" pattern. Circular plate with wide rim in white porcelain with vitreous glaze and transfer-printed decoration. Rim is decorated with orange triangles like stylized rays of the sun; between these triangles are areas of blue (sky) and white (clouds). In two places the blue spills onto the plate. In one area of clouds on the rim is a comic cherub in pink outline.
