Frequent Art Questions
I just wanted to know exactly what the prototype was made for.
It was a prototype of a style of cup and saucer that soon after went into full scale production at the Sèvres porcelain manufacture in France. It served as a model so the artisans there could accurately copy Woodman’s design. This cup and saucer design was made in at least five colors: blue, pink, brown, yellow, and aqua. It was made quite recently, in 2012!Okay! Thank you!
