    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Chased silver footed bowl, rare, Indian Mughal-style, with gold wash interior and monogram. Footed bowl decorated in a chased, dense design of all over floral motives similar to know Indian silver examples, possibly the result of Whiting hiring a native born Indian craftsman. Bowl with gold wash interior and monogram at center of 'CMG.'
