CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Pile produced by ends of coil fiber extended; coiling with interlocking stitch. Condition: poor; missing much of pile. The fibers are dry, brittle, and shed when touched. The pile (which is about 75% missing) breaks when touched; what remains is matted.
