CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Carved stone trophy head with large, uneven, almond-shaped eyes and a pronouned, aquiline rose. The mouth has defined, thin lips and the ears are carved toward the back of the head. This trophy head may be published in "Costa Rican Stonework" by J. Alden Mason, 1945, p. 268.
Condition: fair; the surface is abraded at the top of the head, back of neck, and tip of nose.
