CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Small tripod bowl with tall, hollow, rattle legs decorated with an appliqué crocodilian figure with modeled ridges along its back and three thin oblong perforations. The walls of the bowl flare out to the rim. The surface of the vessel is covered with a brown slip and the exterior walls are decorated with incised lines within three rectangular motifs. The interior rim is decorated with small incised triangles filled with crosshatching. The ceramic style is Tayutic Incised of the Cartago-La Cabaña Period, 800-1500.
Condition: fair; three repaired breaks and the rim is chipped.
