    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Small toy whistle in the shape of a hen, of reddish clay painted with red stripes to represent feathers. Hollow, with a flat base and a hole in the tail which produces a whistle when one blows into it. The eyes are indicated by two applied circles of pottery.
