CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Portrait bust of mature man with a high forehead and chin-length, thick hair; long, thick beard and mustache; head turned slightly to the right and downward; wearing a soft collar; continuous rectangular block base with molded letters across the front, "TENNYSON"; reddish brown pigment (?) in crevices, especially in beard. Condition: Good, few scratches on forehead and chips around bottom edge of base.
