Bowl

Asian Art

This bowl is decorated with what is typically called an “egg and spinach” glaze, but it is also known as “tiger skin” glaze. This decoration recalls the three-color (sancai) lead glaze used in the Tang dynasty on tomb sculptures and other ceramics.
