Gift of Emily Manheim Goldman
Block-like and rather flat carving of a seated Vishnu holding an unidentified object in his right hand, his left hand resting on his left knee with palm out and fingers bent to cover thumb. His locks are matted, rising above his head and then falling around the sides. He wears a jeweled diadem, multi-strand pearl necklace, sacred thread band around his abdomen, and armbands on his upper arm.
Condition: Nose chipped off. Chipped finger on left hand.
