    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Speckled gray stone head of an animal, perhaps a panther, with a long neck. Head twisted to one side, mouth open and snarling. Grapevine with remains of leaves encircles neck, suggesting it was part of a large group showing Bacchus driving a chariot. Condition: Good. Details missing from mouth. Minor chips, especially on ears and at base.
