    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Pianoforte, carved and inlaid rosewood, satinwood and mahogany. Greek Revival style, doubly hinged lid and front panel, opening to satinwood surfaces with pierced fret panel and gold stencil cornucopias flanking a label inscribed: New Patent H. & W. Geib, 23 Maiden Lane, New York", three shallow drawers below with brass bandings. Acanthus carved trestle stand with central mirrored lyre and paw feet, castered, finely painted and grained to simulate rosewood. Condition: mirror chipped, veneer and banding missing in places.
