I love the snail handles
Such a lovely detail! This vase was manufactured in France ca. 1905. Clear glass was overlaid with red, orange, green, purple and yellow glass and the abstract grape vine design was cameo cut.
CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Tall, thick-walled, cylindrical vase sloping upwards from flat, circular base. Colorless glass overlaid with red, orange, green, purple and yellow glass; abstract grape vine design cameo cut, with irregularly disposed, raised circular applications of grape bunches. Two applied frosted brown and smoke-color glass snails.
