Impressed on underside, from top to bottom: (1) partially struck rectangular stamp containing eagle with spread wings clutching a branch and bunch of arrows in its claws and with U.S. coat-of-arms over its chest, framed by "THOMAS" along top edge and "BADGER" along bottom. (2) partially struck rectangular stamp containing "BOSTON" with decorative foliate pattern centered below.
