Impressed on underside, from top to bottom: (1) Oval stamp with "RICHARD" around top edge; in center, dove carrying branch flying above fox (lamb?); and "AUSTIN" around bottom edge. [Laughlin identifies the animal as a lamb, but it does not resemble one.] (2) Rectangular stamp with "R.A.BOSTON".
