Front of postcard depicts artist painting at easel with legend at lower right, "NASSAU-BY- / THE-SEA- / VIA FREEPORT" and text written along bottom and continuing around right side, "Dear Arthur, / Am down here painting can / not come Monday as I expect company / write me when you expect to leave will try to / see you before you go. / Regards -- Walt."; reverse of postcard: addressed to "Arthur Woelfle Esq. / 90 So. Elliot Place. / Brooklyn New York", 2 cent stamp, postmark from [Freeport] dated [June or July 20], 1906.
