Markings
Impressed on underside in center: two identical, side-by-side, partially impressed stamps consisting of an eagle in center with wings spread, American crest over its belly, and arrows clutched in its claws; field of dots (stars?) above its head. "WIL[LIAM]" arches above eagle and "DANFORTH" curves below. (Bottom part of left stamp and top part of right stamp are worn away.)
