CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Textile fragment with embroidered image of a standing anthropomorphic being in red, yellow, blue, and green on brown plain weave. The figure has six snakes emanating from his head and body. He has large circular eyes and a smiling mouth. The rectangular body has a small image of an identical standing anthropomorphic being, also with snakes. Surrounding the main figure are filler creatures including birds. Size: undetermined or adult. Probable wearer: undetermined or male. Horizontal cotton warp. Cotton weft. Camelid fiber embroidery. Plain weave. Iconography: Standing Oculate Being (anthropomorphic pose) (AR).
