CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Marble top; ormolu fittings. Regency style. Rectangular grey marble top with turreted front corners fitted with open arcaded three-quarter gallery. Top surmounts frieze section with inlaid panels on front and sides; ormolu moldings. Turreted corners. Central , large section with single rectangular drawer in front; center panel lined with pleated peach-colored silk, framed with ormolu moldigns veneered stiles and rails. Flanked on either side by tubular ormolu stiles with acanthus bracelets in center and capping terminals. Four turned ebonized feet capped with ormolu cups. Interior with two adjustable shelves with cross-banded veneer and ormolu strips in front.
Condition: Good. Feet delicate; show signs of repair. About eight chips of inlay missing (small). Former repairs.
