Catalogue Description:
Limestone stopper for a canopic jar in the form of a jackal's head (Duamutef). The details of the eyes and brows are heightened with black pained outlines. In the space on the front of the neck, between the two lappets of the wig, there is an inscription painted in blue. The plug is rather short. Condition: chipped and dirty.
