Catalogue Description:
A rounded waste bowl, decorated with transfer-printed polychrome designs of stylized branches and pomegranates on a white ground. At center is an open picture book revealing a scene with two girls sitting on a green pasture, flanked by a Chinese brush and ink landscape on light blue ground and a rounded fan decorated with fish in the Chinese style. Gilt line along rim. Part of a 11-piece tea set. CONDITION: Excellent.
