Catalogue Description:
Ebonized bent maple and laminated maple armchair, Number 810. Black hand-rubbed lacquer urethane finish. U-shaped with hard-edged square profile members. Flat crest-rail and arms in one horizontal bent member. Front vertical legs extended to meet top bent member at right angle. Straight back legs at curve also rise to meet crest rail. Two conforming evenly spaced supports between crest rail and seat. Solid scoop-seat with saddle. Conforming U-shaped stretcher connecting bottom of legs. Four metal slides beneath stretcher. CONDITION - Very good condition. Slight abrasion to top crest rail. Minor nicks to bottom stretcher. Few scratches to seat surface. Proper left front top seat with encrustation.
