Catalogue Description: Small rather crude figurine of dark, coarse pottery, representing a calf or hornless ox. (De Morgan: calf). All legs stumpy, but separate from each other. Eyes and muzzle very slightly indicated. Flanks protruding. Marked dewlap. Remains of light slip; no traces of paint. Probably a toy. Condition: Right legs missing.
