Catalogue Description:
Small pewter pail with handle. Pail rises from flat bottom to sides that angle outward then flare out and curve upward to straight rim. Narrow strap handle in shape of inverted "U" with pinched in sides; ends fit into holes in rim, allowing handle to pivot; hole for hanging in top of handle. CONDITION: Good; badly tarnished; signs of corrosion on interior and spot near bottom of pail on exterior; top edge slightly misshapen; allover light scratches; rust-colored spot on top of handle.
