Catalogue Description:
One cartonnage footcase of a mummy. Bottom: Two bound captives are painted in brown with green hair on the bottoms of the sandals. Geometric borders surround the sandals. Top: The gold sandaled feet are well raised from the rest of the case. The rest of the top surface is decorated with basket weave pattern. The end and sides of the case are decorated with a geometric band with flowers and wadjet eyes. Condition: Excellent. Plaster cracked in area and slightly scraped in others.
