Catalogue Description: Large sandstone stela of Ramesses II, divided into two registers, the upper one showing the king making offerings to the gods. The stela is of conventional form, with rounded top, the front being divided into two approximately equal registers. In the upper register, Ramesses II stands at the left and makes offerings to Amun, Mut (?) and Horus. In the center of the lower registers are two large cartouches, surmounted by feathered disks. On each side is a large hawk with outstretched wings and crowned with a sun disk. Faint traces of bright red paint remain on the figure of the king. Workmanship poor; of interest only as a provincial specimen. Condition: Entire surface badly weathered. Lower right corner shows a bad crack.
